We are seeking both Mid-Level and Senior Cloud Systems Engineers to support the design, deployment, migration, administration, and troubleshooting of cloud environments for our clients. The ideal candidates will work closely with our team to ensure seamless delivery of cloud projects, from migrations to ongoing support and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Workspace (G Suite).
- Perform migrations of email, file storage, and applications from on-premise or other platforms to cloud environments.
- Configure and manage hybrid cloud environments integrating on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
- Set up and maintain virtual networks, compute resources, and storage in cloud environments.
- Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory, Azure AD, Entra ID, and other identity solutions.
- Implement security best practices, including compliance, encryption, and MFA configurations.
- Develop automation scripts for deployments and routine tasks using tools like PowerShell, Bash, or Terraform.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization.
- Provide technical support for escalated cloud-related incidents and implement resolutions.
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineers on project scoping, BOM creation, and SOW development.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance service offerings.
Skills & Qualifications:
Mid-Level Systems Engineer
- Experience: 3–5 years in cloud infrastructure design, migration, and management.
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Workspace).
- Strong understanding of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V or VMware).
- Experience with cloud migration tools (e.g., Azure Migrate, AWS Migration Hub, BitTitan).
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as VPNs, DNS, and routing in cloud environments.
- Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation.
Senior Systems Engineer
- Experience: 7+ years in systems engineering with a focus on cloud solutions.
- Proficiency with multiple cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, and Google Workspace) in large-scale deployments.
- Expertise in hybrid cloud architectures, including integration with on-prem infrastructure.
- Advanced knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
- Strong scripting and automation skills, with experience in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
- Proven ability to lead cloud migrations, including assessment, planning, execution, and post-migration support.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks like HIPAA, SOC 2, or GDPR.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- CompTIA Cloud+
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) – Cloud Management and Automation
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent (preferred but not required)
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Leadership experience for senior candidates, including mentoring junior staff.
